£325,000 upgrade to Hartlepool extra care scheme complete [Archived]

The investment project delivered in partnership with Equans, has seen 26 bungalows at Bamburgh Court in the Clavering area of the town receive new boilers, windows and roof line upgrades.  

Thirteen’s project manager Liam Hill said “We’re pleased to have delivered another investment project in partnership with Equans. Customers are delighted with their upgraded boilers, which they will also benefit from. Additionally, the external improvements to windows and rooflines have made a huge difference to the overall appearance of the scheme."

Darren Sterling, director of regeneration and sustainability at Equans, said: “We are delighted to have worked with Thirteen to deliver a range of upgrades for customers living at Bamburgh Court. All of the work will give residents a boost, with new windows, boilers and roof line works improving the quality and energy efficiency of their homes, giving them a positive benefit for years to come.”

The work is part of Thirteen’s £50million investment plans, which will see thousands of homes in the North East and Yorkshire benefit from home improvements this year.

Over the next five years Thirteen is investing around £300million across over 25,000 homes within 15 local authority areas.
