Thank you for coming along to our customer open day at the DoubleTree by Hilton.

The event was a great opportunity to meet with you and hear more about what matters to you most as a customer of Thirteen, as well as share with you what's coming up in your area.

You said, we're doing...

Cost of living

  • In a workshop with our community resilience team about the cost of living, many customers shared concerns about an increase in heating bills. To find out more information about the cost of living support available to you, from Thirteen and others, click here. 

Customer experience

  • Five customers asked us for more details about our Touchpoint store, and they were given a leaflet with useful information about the store.
  • One customer spoke to us about antisocial behaviour, and we contacted a colleague the same day to look into the issue.
  • One customer spoke to us about a job opportunity they'd applied for at Thirteen. We gave the customer more information about Thirteen and the role and we're pleased to say they secured the job!
  • One customer spoke to us about our store being too far for them to travel. After hearing this feedback, our customer experience team has arranged to get involved in drop-in sessions at Marfleet Community Centre and Turner Court on the last Tuesday of each month.

Repairs

  • Six customers reported repairs at the open day and our team has followed up each query.
  • One customer spoke to us about an issue with guttering near their home and a repair was booked in to look at this.

Support services

  • Two customers spoke to us to ask about our tenancy support service, which helps people set up and sustain a tenancy. Our team has been in touch with the customers to set up dedicated support plans.

Community resilience

  • Seven customers spoke to us about the work we're doing to build stronger communities, and two have let us know that they'd like to be involved in activities in their area.
  • Residents at Turner Court asked about support to set up a resident group. We set up drop-in sessions with customers to discuss this in more detail.

Building support services

  • Two customers spoke to us about building support services, including cleaning, caretaking and CCTV cameras. Our team has been working with customers to investigate their queries.

Estate services

  • Residents at Owbridge Court told us they would like shrubs, benches and tables to make their outside communal area more appealing. We've been meeting with residents at Owbridge and Turner Court about creating veg growing areas and enhancing the outdoor space.

New developments

  • Two customers asked us about shared ownership, an affordable way to get onto the property ladder by purchasing a share and paying rent on the rest. Customers completed an online form for a member of our sales team to get in touch with more details.
