Join us for a week of action in Pallister Park and Berwick Hills [Archived]
Are you looking for something to do with the kids next week?
19 Jul 2023
If so, then we'd love you to come along to our week of action that's taking place in Pallister Park and Berwick Hills from Monday, 24 July, to celebrate the neighbourhood and the community that live in the area.
There's plenty on offer, including painting in the park, a blue light trail, litter pick, youth fun and an information day with some great activities.
This week of action is being made possible through funding from Thirteen. It is supported by the Home Office's Safer Streets 4 initiative and partners, including Middlesbrough Council, Cleveland Police, and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
There are also lots of individuals, voluntary and community groups involved.
It would be great to get as many residents as possible to come along, get involved and encourage friends and family too.
Activities during the week include:
Monday 24 July: Pop-up information day, 12 - 3pm
Visit one of the three gazebos at Morrisons, Arundal Green and the Bullring. A Thirteen housing services coordinator will be on hand as well as their employability team. There will also be lots of fun activities.
Tuesday 25 July: Litter pick in the park, 10 - 12pm
Meet in the park at 10am. Everyone is welcome to take part, and equipment will be provided. Please wear suitable clothing.
Wednesday 26 July: Blue light, fun trail, 12 - 3pm
The blue light trail is centred around Morrisons, Norfolk Place shops, the entrance to the park and the Bullring on Kimberley Drive. Pick up a trail leaflet (from) to find the stickers which lead to craft activities, face painting and fun.
Members of Cleveland Police and Crime Commissioner’s team will be on hand with lots of advice and goodies.
Thursday, 27 July: Painting in the park, 10 - 4pm
Meet in the park and help improve the space by joining in and painting the play area fencing. Equipment will be provided, and we ask that you wear suitable clothing.
Friday 28 July: Youth fun, 1 - 3pm
Come along to the Pallister Park Centre located in the middle of the park and enjoy a number of fun activities.
*Please note that these times are subject to change, so we ask that you keep your eye on this page for updates.
