Topping out marks a step closer to new homes at Kedward [Archived]

New homes on the site of three demolished tower blocks in Brambles Farm, Middlesbrough, are another step closer to completion.

Colleagues from Thirteen and Esh Construction were on site to see the topping out of some of the planned new homes.
 
Thirteen is delivering the scheme in partnership with Middlesbrough Council, Esh Construction, Homes England, and other partners.

The new homes replace the Milford, Portland, and Jupiter tower blocks, which were demolished in 2021. The Jupiter site will include 15 bungalows, while Milford and Portland will be home to 90 new homes, including a mix of bungalows, two-bedroom homes, up to four-bedroom houses and four-bedroom townhouses.

We're using modern construction methods throughout the scheme, with all homes with timber frames. Ten of the properties will also be built as 'net zero-carbon.'
