To support our Resettle Northeast CRS Accommodation Service, we’re looking for more Accommodation Support Workers.
10 May 2022
Covering either the Tees Valley or County Durham, some of the roles will offer a mix of community and custody-based work, while some may be based solely in HMP Durham.
The Resettle North East service, commissioned via the Ministry of Justice, supports ex-offenders to help them find, secure and sustain a home. The team is dedicated to overcoming barriers and giving those using the service the best chance of finding and keeping a home, as well as supporting them to build on their life skills.
Thirteen colleagues are deeply passionate about what they do and why they do it. We seek to employ people who share our ambition to think and work differently. This means sourcing those passionate individuals who ensure every relationship matters, are reliable and adaptable in their approach and can work progressively in a high performing environment.
Could this be you?
We’re looking for people from a wide range of backgrounds that share our passion and drive to really make a difference to people’s lives and:
- are committed to supporting people in a non-judgemental way to give them the best possible chance of finding a home and maintaining it
- have experience of working with people who have varying complexities and risk levels, either within a criminal justice setting or with transferrable skills from another sector
- have the confidence and ability to deliver interventions one-to-one or in groups
- have experience of managing and prioritising challenging caseloads, assessing individuals and supporting individual needs to meet set outcomes
- have experience of risk management and safeguarding
- adopt a holistic approach when working with clients to promote positive and sustained change
All successful candidates will be subject to National Security Vetting and Prison Clearance.
Please note we retain a talent pool for future positions for applicants who reach the Thirteen standard at interview.
