How we work
We believe that work is what you do and not where you go, which has helped us to develop Thirteen’s ways of working. Our colleagues helped to shape our approach to the way we work, which includes four different ways of working: hub, home, roaming and operative.
- Home-based colleagues work from home for the majority of the working week because they can fully deliver services that way. You’d still be able to travel and meet colleagues face-to-face and you might book a desk in one of our hubs to work.
- Hub colleagues are based at a Thirteen site because you'd be dealing with customers in-person or because they need to access key equipment.
- Roaming colleagues could start and finish the day in different places depending on what you needed to do. You could be working across multiple locations, from home or a hub depending on the work.
- Operatives work in much the same way as a roaming colleague, but are likely to move from site-to-site or property-to property more often, depending on the work needed to be done
