Hillside Gardens

Our development, known as Hillside Gardens, will provide 296 new, high-quality homes in the Grove Hill area of Middlesbrough.

All of the homes are available for affordable rent. There’ll be a range of:

  • 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses perfect for couples and families
  • 2 and 3 bedroom bungalows suitable for those who wish to downsize or have mobility needs

Where you live is an important decision to make. At Hillside Gardens, your home will be at the heart of the local community. Nearby transport links will make it quick and easy to access Middlesbrough town centre, located less than two miles away. The development is also close to James Cook University Hospital as well as a range of supermarkets, leisure centres and parks.

Community gardens

We know that the comfort and security you feel whilst living in your home can have a positive impact on your mental and physical health. That’s why we’re planting community gardens on the development. The gardens will be accessible to the surrounding residents of each garden and are there for them to use and enjoy.

Beech Grove Primary School partnership

We worked in partnership with local historian Dr Tosh Warwick and Beech Grove Primary School to help name our Grove Hill development.

The project aimed to teach the pupils about the heritage and history of their local area, as well as it's important role in regeneration. The children were excited to be a part of the future of the site and the winning name Hillside Gardens was chosen based on it's links to the history of the area and the warm welcoming nature of the community gardens.

The development is under construction and is due to be completed by 2028.
